4. How do I run the system on more than one PC? From home?
On each PC you install it just as if it was to be a stand-alone installation. Then move the data file (MSDATA6.MDB) to any shared folder on the network. On each PC, go into SETUP then into the CHANGE DATA PATH button at the upper right. On that screen enter that file name and change the location to the appropriate drive letter and folder, then click on REATTACH
You can install ZMS on any home PC just the same as at the church. The only issue is the sharing of the data file. If only used at home, that issue does not exist. But if running it at home and at the church, we recommend a one-way transport only, if possible, and tell them it is risky to do bi-directional transfers. The one-way means that all changes are done at home, and carried to / copied into the church PC(s) only for lookups and printing our reports.
